Chains of Love Beanie Hat Knitting Pattern

This comfy hat forms its lovely chain link pattern. It’s a great hat for beginners to tackle and you’ll be amazed at how quickly (and easily) the chain design appears as you knit.

This hat can be made with any bulky or chunky weight yarn but I highly recommend trying Groovy by Dream in Color since it’s superwash (you can just throw it in the washing machine and you’re good to go).

The hat is knit flat and sewn up in the final step with a tapestry needle using the same yarn used for the hat. The pattern features a diagram explaining the Mattress Stitch technique to demonstrate the best way to do so.

The finished hat will fit heads from 21" to 24" due to the stretchiness of the design.
